IGL Coatings Wheel
Forget the stains on the wheels that come with regular brake pedal use. IGL Wheel is a game changer and will make your wheels look new with minimal maintenance.
Not all Ceramic Coatings are suited to long term use on areas such as wheels. IGL have done a ground up build of this product and can even protect brake calipers.
The product will be applied to all front facing external surfaces and gullies.
Additional costs apply if you want your wheels removed, decontaminated and coated from the inside (recommended) and wheels returned with torqued to spec lug nuts.

Preamble Prep Work
We undertake paint depth scans free of charge to every vehicle booked in. We then go about discussing expectations and limitations. Afterwards we get to work and decontaminate your car, apply snow foam, remove iron decontaminants, assess paint and undertake a professional 1 stage paint correction to ensure we meet the strict guidelines of ceramic manufacturers

Closed Door Applications
Using our custom studio lighting and ceramic installation booth, we get to work taping up all the vulnerable areas, apply your choice of coating, address issues as they arise.
The shop limits access and pedestrian flow and temps are monitored using state of the art equipment to ensure we deliver the best possible result.

Curing By The Book not by other bookings
Space is at a premium, however your vehicle once in the ceramic booth is our priority and nothing gets in the way of a decent curing effort.
We monitor curing times as per specifications and then use state of the art curing lamps. This results in quicker handovers and rock solid coatings, not falling at risk of early deterioration.

We want you to be fully across the investment made in protecting your vehicle into the long run. Before we hand the keys back, we go through the product after care, discuss washing processes, do's and don't and then work with you to ensure all the products chosen and installed are fully understood.

We want each and every interaction with clients to meet mutual expectations. As such we want to be very clear of the engagement you want us to partake in. Confirming expectations and limitations will always lead to happy positive working relationships....something our small family business is well known for. If ever you don't understand anything to do with our process, limitations or communication style please don't hesitate in contacting us.
Paint Correction
We have applied many ceramic coatings and PPF over the years and know all too well that the pre-delivery process can be a hit or miss affair. Often dealerships use polymer filled compounds to polish the vehicles in record time. Whilst this produces an eye catching result, it is short lived once the fillers in the compounds expire...often within weeks.
Our process of paint correction involves removing any waxes, grease and contaminants from paint work. A full assessment is made using high powered studio lights and then a paint depth scan is undertaken. Armed with this info allows us to make the crucial decision to run with a 1 stage correction or a full 2 or maybe even three stage approach.
This can often lead to a difficult conversation around asking for additional labour to correct hidden imperfections not visible during vehicle handover. We encourage customers to visit their vehicle to ensure they are happy with the paints condition and that they are happy to proceed with sealing the paint work as inspected.
All coatings applied by us will receive a single stage correction. if the paintwork shows significant defects we will discuss options prior to coating your vehicle.
How Long Does It take?
As a rule we can turnaround a vehicle in great condition with minimal correction in one day however our preference is always an overnight stay in our secured and monitored compound. This has proven a winner over the years as we can control the dust, ambient temps and ensure the next day everything has rolled out according to plan.
If your vehicle needs extensive correction or indeed booked in for multiple coatings or dual layer solutions then you may be without your vehicle for up top 3 days....sorry but we don't currently have a loan vehicle available due to insurance premiums however we are happy to work in with you and your requirements.
Why are your warranties so short?
We get asked this a lot - we want you as a long term customer however don't feel it's right to expect you to come in yearly for a top-up at your cost....a warranty is a warranty. If you follow the steps and don't apply top up coatings then you are working with the genuine warranty timeframes....we are happy to give you extended warranties however the cost of top-ups often negates the marketing spin. Most car owners upgrade vehicles every 6.1 year (carsales.com.au) so why bother falling for the long term warranties?
How do we pay?
When you lock in a date and pay your holding deposit of $200 we get to work allocating you a slot in our ceramic booth. Stocks of your chosen ceramic kit is confirmed and if needed ordered in. On vehicle collection you can pay the balance owing subject to your satisfaction and smiling face as we hand the keys back.

What does Ceramic Coatings protect my car from?
This warranty does not cover stone chipping, surface rust, marring, abnormal chemical fallout or spillage, untreated panel repair or replacement, scratching, abrasions, manufacturers imperfections or paint imperfections such as paint flaking, peeling, foreign matter in paint, orange peel or clear coat separation.

Another car ran into mine and now needs panel repairs...what happens to the coating?
In the event of damage to the factory painted surface of your car caused by collision, accident, vandalism or abuse, the vehicle can be returned top us for re-treatment of the damaged areas at the owners or insurers expense.
You must present your warranty information prior to the vehicle being re-treated. Please be aware that if your vehicle required professional spray painting then you will need to wait approximately 4-6 weeks before any coating is reapplied. All areas affected by repairs will need to be recovered.
It is the vehicle owners responsibility to ensure their insurance company is notified of the ceramic coating application. In the event of panel work you should be covered for the re-application.
What about after care?
No problems! we have you covered with an extensive handover. We recommend Shark owners wash their vehicles at least once every month with a ceramic safe PH neutral shampoo. Additional waxes can be used but not altogether necessary.
Maintenance service kits can be purchased from Two Step Detailing. For customers who do not have time to maintain their cars or would prefer to leave this to the experts, our team of detailer’s offer a range of aftercare packages.
Owners must ensure they wash by hand using the demonstrated "Two Bucket Wash Method" and avoid DIY and automated car wash locations like the plague. Chemicals used in those establishments are incredibly harsh and contain high concentrations and readings on the PH scale. Your warranty will become void if it can be proven the coating has either disappeared or damaged as a result of such indiscretions. Compounding (polishing), using Alkaline or Acidic chemicals, applying caustic cleaners to wheels and harsh window cleaning sprays must be avoided.
Additionally bird droppings are corrosive and should be removed using baby wipes or similar within the first 24 hours. No warranty is provided for bird droppings damaging coatings or vehicle paint work.
Please note warranties are non-transferable unless the new owner is happy to pay for intro to ceramic coating maintenance session valued at $99
Do you come to us?
Nope! Ceramic installation is serious business and contamination and exposed weather provides us with a level of anxiety, not even the best medications can assist with. Additionally if you have someone trying to correct a car on a windy day in the driveway....run away!
